Looking down the bank
Looking down the bank
Looking down at the SJ9059 : Twin Bridges and the Himalayan Walk from the top of the bank. The Himalayan Walk was designed by horticulturist and industrialist, James Bateman, during the 19th century. Until recently the banks were lined with Rhododendrons and the stream was made to look like a miniature mountain river. The two bridges carry the path over a bend in the stream, as they run side by side down through Biddulph Grange Country Park.
