This is the Viewing Point on Durdham Downs, from where a good view of the Suspension Bridge and the Avon Gorge can be seen. They are currently replacing the railings from the blue rails with wire fencing tied on to stop people climbing on the rails to the more discreet black rails. The notice says 'Railings under construction, do not attach any climbing equipment.
