The pylons march across the landscape towards Graveney, here crossing the higher ground above the marshes.

One of the friends who was with me said she likes the modern style cylindrical straw bales. How long will it be, I wonder, before both pylons and bales are a thing of the past, and scenes like this become a matter for nostalgia?
