St Mary on the Quay
St Mary on the Quay
Built in 1840, the church originally looked out onto the River Frome, hence the name. However, the water was covered over in 1893, forming what is now Colston Avenue. A nice benchmark can be found here - ST5873 : Bolt benchmark, St Mary on the Quay.
