Maize, horse chestnut, fence and byway, Shefford Woodlands
Maize, horse chestnut, fence and byway, Shefford Woodlands
At left is the edge of a small crop of maize being grown as cover for (probably) pheasants. The tree is not particularly large for its species. Just visible to the right of the fence is what is a well-surfaced byway that leads to Oakhanger House.
