Bayston Hill quarry - partly restored land
Bayston Hill quarry - partly restored land
Bayston Hill quarry supplies materials to a number of asphalt plants across the Midlands, and is highly sought after as a wearing course ingredient, due to its high Polished Stone Value. Stone from here was recently exported to the Middle East to surface the new Bahrain Grand Prix circuit.
The area in the foreground here looks as if it's under restoration.
