SE6986 : Former Old Black Swan entrance

taken 13 years ago, near to Kirkbymoorside, North Yorkshire, England

Former Old Black Swan entrance
Former Old Black Swan entrance
The main street in Kirkbymoorside is lined with pubs that have survived from the towns period as an important halt for stage coaches. The Black Swan is the oldest of these pubs, with a carved entrance porch dating back to 1632. Sadly it is now an Indian restaurant.
