A Vale of Rheidol works train nearest the camera. A 'Sprinter' class 150 unit stands in the main line platform with a train (probably) for Wolverhampton. A locomotive with the stock of an 'Intercity' through train from London stands in the yard siding. Unfortunately, there are no longer through trains from London to Aber. Most trains from here are scheduled to run to Birmingham but as a result of late running are frequently terminated at Wolverhampton!
