SU1090 : Hayes Knoll Station, Swindon and Cricklade Railway

Hayes Knoll Station, Swindon and Cricklade Railway
Hayes Knoll Station, Swindon and Cricklade Railway
The station looks authentic but is not all that it appears. The area behind the facade is taken up with a workshop rather than waiting rooms and ticket offices. It was built by the heritage railway long after the original Midland and South Western Junction Railway closed in 1961. For another view from the same viewpoint please see SU1090 : The northern end of Hayes Knoll Station, Swindon and Cricklade Railway This and other pictures of mine from today were taken at a Steam and Vintage rally at the heritage railway.
