Hen Wood and Buckdown
To the left of this track (where the overhanging oak has its roots) is Hen Wood; through the gate to the right is a field called Buckdown. There is no public right of way in this gridsquare, which contains some of the loveliest countryside for miles around. It is enjoyed (briefly) by thousands of pheasants.
