My guess is that this fungus is Trametes versicolor, the Turkey-tail Fungus, though I can't rule out the possibility that it might be its close relative, T. gibbosa. If I hadn't been going to post this image on Geograph I wouldn't have learnt that to tell the difference you have to look at the shape of the pores, underneath . . .
