Bournemouth: backs of benches in the flooded Gardens
Bournemouth: backs of benches in the flooded Gardens
Torrential rain this morning brought much flooding to Bournemouth town centre and, unsurprisingly, most of it ended up in the gardens through which the Bourne Stream trickles (in its normal state) down to the Pier Approach.

Believe it or not, the water had started receding quite substantially by the time I went out with the camera - in fact, a hint at the water level at its greatest can be gleaned from the debris which has been left around the backs of the benches. (Actually, I say benches; they are in fact built as a single really long bench!)
