Wartime relic-Langstone Harbour 1
Wartime relic-Langstone Harbour 1
This abandoned section of Mulberry harbour caisson was intended to go to France for the D-day invasion. It was damaged and was left here in Langstone harbour very near to Hayling ferry pontoon. Some 67 years of sitting on a mud bank have left it in a very damaged condition.SU6800 : Wartime relic-Langstone Harbour 2
