The path runs around the slopes of Meall Dhùin Croisg following on the surface the route of the hydro tunnel from the dam on Allt Dhùin Croisg to the surge shaft above the Lochay Power Station. It is a double track for some form of vehicle but would predate the popular quad bikes of today.
