Entrance to Eastbury Comprehensive School
This is no longer the main entrance to the school TQ4484 : Eastbury Comprehensive School, but the doorway marked Barking Education Committee and the datestone marking its opening in 1926 by the Bishop of Barrow in Furness are of historical interest. Although not named, the Bishop in question was Herbert Pelham who had until recently been Vicar of Barking. LinkExternal link
