This bench mark is on the west parapet of Parkfoot Bridge, which crosses Aspland Beck. The mark was recorded on the 1850 O.S. map but the levelled height is unclear. On the 1894 map it is levelled at 279.6 feet. See also SD6771 : Parkfoot Bridge and a bench mark
