SK5159 : River Maun leaving King's Mill Reservoir

taken 7 years ago, near to Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, Great Britain

River Maun leaving King's Mill Reservoir
River Maun leaving King's Mill Reservoir
The River Maun leaves the 'reservoir' by way of an overflow, and flows down into this impressive (if a little overgrown in this shot) piece of stone work, then away to the left under the arches of the old railway viaduct. Not much water is flowing here, after a very dry summer.
