Approaching Meadow Lane Lock
Approaching Meadow Lane Lock
Two narrowboats, linked together, approach Meadow Lane Lock, where the Nottingham Canal joins the River Trent. My next picture, taken a few moments later and a little further across Trent Bridge, also shows them: SK5838 : A view from Trent Bridge on an August morning. Buses occupy the site of the warehouses shown in SK5838 : Across the Trent and SK5838 : Pink sky over Meadow Lane Lock, which were demolished over the winter of 2010-11.
