Ballymeanoch henge
Ballymeanoch henge
In the foreground are the banks of an almost circular henge dating back to between 4000 and 5000 years ago.
Thousands of years later stone burial cists were added to what was already recognised as an ancient site.
In the distance one can see the two groups of standing stones that formed part of an avenue.
