Prince Imperial Memorial
Memorial to the Prince Imperial, son of Napoleon III, who had lived at Camden Place (see TQ4370 : Camden Place), and who had was killed in 1879 in South Africa in the Zulu War, while acting an observer with the British Army. The memorial, in the form of a Celtic Cross, made from Cornish granite to a design of Edward Robson, was completed in 1881. It is grade II listed - for listing particulars see Link
