Estuarine flats of the River Add
Estuarine flats of the River Add
Looking to the outcrop of rock on which the royal administrative fort of Dunadd once stood 1500 years ago.
This area would have been less silted up back then allowing ships to sail up close to the fort.
Since then the silt and the moss have built up an important habitat called the Moine Mhor.
