SO2335 : Path on the northern escarpment of the Black Mountains

taken 7 years ago, 4 km from Capel-y-Ffin, Powys, Great Britain

Path on the northern escarpment of the Black Mountains
Path on the northern escarpment of the Black Mountains
The path here gradually falls away down towards Gospel Pass and offers great views up towards the other ridges of the Black Mountains.

The Black Mountains offer walkers a wide range of ridge options and numerous summits and distinctive peaks to 'conquer' as well as stream or river valleys to explore - all-in-all a compact mountain walkers paradise. (Its pretty good if youre gangly too).
