SN0534 : The floor of the Gwaun Valley

taken 7 years ago, near to Cilgwyn, Pembrokeshire/Sir Benfro, Great Britain

The floor of the Gwaun Valley
The floor of the Gwaun Valley
The valley was formed by sub-glacial meltwater and it has been left with a flat bottom and steep sides. The floor is still very moist, while the river is small and doesn't drain it effectively.
