A happy well fed tick
Ticks seem to be on the increase, some folk say it's because the sheep don't get the dipping they used to. Global warming has also been blamed, mild winters not bumping enough of them off. Some ticks carry Lyme disease, which is yet another illness which starts with flu-like symptoms, and becomes serious if not treated early.
