Lydd-on-Sea, Dungeness, Battery Road, The Pilot Inn, Pub Sign.
The original Pilot dates from 1633, built from timbers from the spanish ship "Alfresia" which was lured ashore by wreckers. A much friendlier welcome is assured today and you can be sure to get excellent fish and chips.
The Pilot Inn also was a railway station on the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway.
