Arches (1), Severnside South, Bewdley

There used to be a café here, and indeed from the outside it still looks like one. However this is in fact a public house, and only opened in December 2009. At one time Severnside South, overlooking the River Severn and the bridge, was full of various businesses including pubs. In recent decades it has gradually become increasingly residential and, until the Arches opened, there had not been a pub in this road for many years.
