Castle of St John, Stranraer
I have long been fascinated by the work of M.C.Escher the Dutch lithographer Link
and this part of the tower of the Castle of St John in Stranraer caught my eye with his work in mind particularly 'Ascending and Descending' Link
. The sky behind the tower was grey and lifeless so I opted for a shutter priority setting to improve the contrast of the image.
