Brimpton Airfield Clubhouse
Brimpton Airfield Clubhouse
Brimpton is what's known in aviation circles as a 'farm strip'. It has a grass runway 520 metres in length, orientated R/W 07 25 or NE/SW to non aviators. It was laid out in the 1950's by Sir William Mount, owner of the land and a director of Miles Aircraft at Woodley. It is now home to 20 aircraft and 50 members all of who enjoy flying 'like it used to be'. See:LinkExternal link (Archive LinkExternal link )
