Tidal limit of the Wandle
This weir just upstream of the Thames Path footbridge represents the tidal limit of the river, i.e. freshwater upstream and tidal in the creek below, which is only a few hundred metres long.
River Wandle
A short river (9 miles) flowing entirely within southern London. It rises at Waddon Pond (Croydon) and flows north to meet the River Thames at Wandsworth.
