SP0482 : Pedestrian crossings and a road to nowhere

taken 7 years ago, near to Selly Oak, Birmingham, Great Britain

Pedestrian crossings and a road to nowhere
Pedestrian crossings and a road to nowhere
On a roundabout where the Selly Oak New Road (Aston Webb Boulevard) joins Harborne Lane. A new relief road scheme had been underway for a couple of years, designed to serve new retail developments on the Birmingham Battery site, and take pressure off the section of the A38 through Bournbrook and Selly Oak. It is intended that a road will branch off from the new roundabout, to access proposed developments, as yet unbuilt.
