Eriskay / Eirisgeigh cottages

Eriskay is the southernmost of the five-island archipelago that are linked by causeways (Berneray, N. Uist, Benbecula and S. Uist being the other four from North to South). Behind the cottages seen here, the strip of land is the causeway joining Eriskay to South Uist.
The Gaelic form of Eriskay is Eirisgeigh.
