CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) publish an annual guide of about 5000 of the pubs in Britain serving consistently high quality real ale. All pubs in this collection have been regular entries & good beer is assured.

Embleton

Embleton is a small village just inland from the bay, which bears its name. Embleton has a main street with one shop. There is a small green with the village pump on it, out of use now but at one time the source of the water supply. There are two pubs, two hotels and a village hall. The church dates to the 12th century.
