Regent Bridge north screen arch, Waterloo Place
The Regent Bridge, officially listed as 'an outstanding feat of civil engineering', spans the deep ravine of Low Calton at a height of 50 feet. It is screened on both sides by triumphal arches in the style of the Greek Revival that commemorate the Battle of Waterloo. This is the north screen arch which was the first to be built.
