TM3266 : Bruisyard Church - Southern Doorway

taken 13 years ago, near to Bruisyard, Suffolk, England

Bruisyard Church - Southern Doorway
Bruisyard Church - Southern Doorway
The church is possibly Saxon in date; some believe that the tower was a defensive structure. Other experts agree the flint work is more likely Norman. There is a long blocked Norman doorway on the northern side.

Possibly 15th C doorway like most of the church.
