TM3266 : Bruisyard Church - Northern Doorway

taken 7 years ago, near to Bruisyard, Suffolk, Great Britain

Bruisyard Church - Northern Doorway
Bruisyard Church - Northern Doorway
A simple Norman doorway, blocked for many years.

The church is possibly Saxon in date; some believe that the tower was a defensive structure. Other experts agree the flint work is more likely Norman. There is a long blocked Norman doorway on the northern side.
