One station, two bridges, Epping
One station, two bridges, Epping
Epping station lies at the end of London Underground's Central Line. The iron footbridge lies within the station, linking the two station platforms. The concrete footbridge is outside the station limits, enabling pedestrians to cross the railway to reach the station entrance on the opposite side of the tracks. The gate at the left of the image is open only at busy times, to allow direct access into and out of this side of the station.
