Loch Kinord
Loch Kinord
Loch Kinord, like its neighbour Loch Davan, is a glacial feature. During the Ice Age there was here a large block of ice, and when it melted it left a shallow hollow which is now occupied by the loch. In this view is a small artificial island, known as a crannog, built in prehistoric times.
