NT9757 : The northernmost public footpath

taken 7 years ago, near to Lamberton, Scottish Borders, Great Britain

The northernmost public footpath
The northernmost public footpath
The northern end of the public footpath system seen from just inside Scotland. Notice that the path is fenced in. This is coincidental, things return to normal a mile or so further south, but it gives a very bad first impression and lives up to not entirely accurate stereotypes about lousy land access.
