Greig Street Suspension Bridge & Free North Church
Greig Street Suspension Bridge & Free North Church
The Free North Church on Bank Street in Inverness is seen here framed by one of the arches holding the suspension cables of the Greig Street Bridge.
The bridge was constructed by the Rose Street Foundry in 1881. Walking along this bridge is quite entertaining as it gently undulates underfoot rather like being at sea !
