As everyone who has seen the film "Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves" LinkExternal link knows, Robin Hood frequented this area of Sherwood Forest, especially NY7667 : Sycamore Gap, Hadrian's Wall (photographed by Mick Garratt) a few miles west along Hadrian's Wall.
