Hoy: the Old Man and a seagull
A gull stands by the cliff edge as we look out towards Britain's tallest sea stack, HY1700 : Hoy: the Old Man of Hoy. The similarity in height with the neighbouring cliffs makes it easy to visualise the fact that it was once part of the same land, perhaps as little as 400 years ago.
