ST1444 : Kilve Pill
near to East Quantoxhead, Somerset, Great Britain

Kilve Pill
The stream of Kilve Pill is blocked by a high shingle beach where it reaches the sea. It percolates through the shingle below the top of the beach but re-emerges lower down. The wave-cut platform which characterises this length of the coast can be seen beyond with the cliffs of Lilstock in the distance.
