The Sound of Shuna from the grounds of Appin House.
As can be seen the sound provides sheltered anchorage and there is also extensive fish farming there. The island of Shuna to the right of the picture is now run as a farm. At the south end of the island are the remains of castle Shuna dating from the 16th century
