Museum of Power, Langford - low lift force pumps.
Museum of Power, Langford - low lift force pumps.
These three ram pumps are 18.75" diameter by 36" stroke and are driven by a crankshaft extending beyond the 1931 Lilleshall pumping engine. They lift water from the local river and send it to the filter beds, from where it returns to the high lift pumps for sending on to Southend-on-Sea.

This is a 50:50 time and flash exposure and i am pleased with the lighting quality.
