The name Dundry Down sounds quite attractively rural, the reality of the location is otherwise; there are aerials, industrial sites and housing nearby and an immense amount of junk; some of the flavour of the place can be judged from the image.
Dundry Down is a 'Marilyn' and in discussions among those interested in such hill tops regarding their various merits, it has featured as one of the least attractive; it's easy to see why.
