This is a monument in Glencoe. The inscription reads as follows:-
This cross is reverently erected in memory of McIan, Chief of the MacDonalds of Glencoe who fell with his people in the massacre of Glencoe of 13 Feb: 1692 by his direct descendant Ellen Burns MacDonald of Glencoe August 1883. Their memory liveth for evermore.
