Autumn on the A75

The A75 passes through many beautiful areas of woodland and hills. This shot was taken south of the Gatehouse of Fleet near to its junction with the A755 to Kircudbright. Trees are changing colour and the distant hills show signs of the bracken in bloom. Left of picture on the horizon is Cairnharrow NX5356 : Summit of Cairnharrow and to the right is Cambret NX5257 : Cambret Hill my local TV and telecommunications masts. A lone bird possibly a kite, crossed the picture as I took my shot.
