NZ9011 : The Church of St Mary, Whitby
near to Whitby, North Yorkshire, Great Britain

The Church of St Mary, Whitby
The church has a squat tower, which may or may not have been built so because of its windswept position on the cliff top. Peeking from the rear are the Abbey ruins. The houses sit in the shelter of the Lower Harbour and have excellent views of the River Esk and harbour.
