These landrover tracks are Public Bridleways. The one towards the photographer is name 'The Flagged Road' on the map. The one off to the left is named as the 'Ingleby Coal Road' on a 1950 edition of the 6" to the mile OS map. Presumably the route taken from the disused coal workings around Armouth Wath.
