SK6179 : Manton Turnover Bridge [no 46]

taken 7 years ago, near to Scofton, Nottinghamshire, Great Britain

Manton Turnover Bridge [no 46]
Manton Turnover Bridge [no 46]
So-called because the towpath turns over from one side of the canal to the other. In this case, it is diverted for a mile from its normal north bank to the south bank, to keep the riff raff away from Osberton Hall.
